Job Training Program

ASHHO Cultural Community Center is excited to launch their long-awaited Job Training Program—a paid, 12-week partnership to learn skills in the culinary, hospitality, and catering professions.

Through a trauma-informed lens, participants will learn practical job skills, in addition to having access to group counseling sessions, mentorship opportunities, cultural enrichments, and entrepreneurial support.

Providing experiences of hands-on kitchen skills, event catering, dining service, and resulting in local job placement, this unique opportunity supports ASHHO’s mission:

  • ADVOCATE for survivors, people of color, under-served, under-resourced and marginalized people

  • SERVE our community with kindness, compassion and professional services

  • HONOR HUMANITY in all that we do because all people matter

  • ORGANIZE for positive change through community resources, gatherings, trainings and events

Final deadline for application and referral is February 3, 2025.
